Code Nation at Designit Brooklyn
This summer, Wipro hosted 16 advanced Code Nation students at the Designit offices in DUMBO as part of Code Nation’s Summer Tech Academy.
Wipro joined forces with Code Nation for their 6-week Summer Tech Academy, a skill-building and career readiness program for underserved high schoolers.
New York City and Brooklyn Wiproties volunteered their time, skills, and knowledge across disciplines to help students with everything from HTML and JavaScript to graphic design.
Volunteers were on hand to help build portfolios, design logos and develop layouts. With Designit’s group of seasoned artists and designers, students had a chance to speak firsthand with industry pros about tech-adjacent roles available to folks interested in design.
